    Dear Kathi,

There are no words I can say that would fill the void in your heart. I only wanted to say I was thinking of you and wanted you to know.

My son is leaving for Russia this week with his family and am so sorry I am not there with you. When my mother died, someone wrote the following words for me and it bought me comfort. I hope it does the same for you.

"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Others stay for awhile and touch our hearts so deeply that we are never the same."

    Sincerely,

    Rita

Kathi, I can remember when the boys were born - we walked the Memorial Maternity Wing such best friends all through Signal Hill, I still have the news paper picture clipping of the two of them walking across the 'new bridge' at 95&Signal Hill - that was so long ago and they were such goofy little kids back then...

I just can not believe this... I know he is in a much better place, You and your Family are in my heart and all my prayers in your time of sorrow...Kim

    To Chris and Family-

We can't imagine the pain you all must feel at this moment... you are all in our thoughts and prayers. May God give you peace and understanding in your moment of need.

Just keep remembering the good times and the love you all have shared......

Time has taken me from you,

    Although not very far.

I'll be watching through the sunshine

    And through the brightest star.

I'll be watching all of you,

    From the heavens up above.

So take good care of each other

    And carry all my love.

    If you're ever wondering

If I'm there, here's where you can start.

    Take a look inside yourself

    Deep within your heart.

    I'll always be your baby,

Your child (grandchild), your best friend.

    So anytime you need me,

Close your eyes I'm back again.

    Susan Gallagher, Edwardsville, Illinois,

Dearest Friends and relatives: The outpouring of your love, hugs, thoughts and prayers is so healing to my broken and weeping heart. With each one of your touches, I feel a layer of strength being laid over my heart.

Chad was a great man, excellent dad and a super son.

We shared our quirkey sense of humor and loved to make people feel important and to laugh.

I asked for signs that he is with us. I have received the mohawk duck at the lake by his resting place. I have met so many of his friends that I feeel his presence all around me. I have his shirt that has his smell. All of these things comfort me. I knnow that Chad is with my Dad in a better place...but still with us.

Thank you for everything and the gifts of your friendship.

My love and appreciation to you all.

    Kathi
