Anna Louise Wolf, nee Shubirg, 86, of Swansea, IL, born March 3, 1925, in South Pittsburg, TN, died Monday, June 13, 2011, at the Belleville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Belleville, IL.
Mrs. Wolf was a hairdresser at the Carroll House Beauty Salon in Belleville, IL, and later ran Louise’s Beauty Shop from her home. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Belleville, IL. Louise was an avid bowler and had many hobbies, her favorite being babysitting for her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wolf was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Walker and Annie Ethel, nee Cross, Shubirg; two sisters, Shirley Shubirg and Mary Etta Clinton; one brother, Kenny Shubirg; and one great-grandson, Nicholas Cook.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Clarence J. Wolf, whom she married on October 17, 1953;
a sister, Violet Wolfe;
two brothers, Herman Shubirg and Rickey Shubirg;
a sister-in-law, Erna Hartman;
numerous nieces and nephews;
two daughters, Sandra (Thomas) Cook and Debra (Richard) Koehler;
a son, Douglas (Debra) Wolf;
eight grandchildren, Dawn Cook, Kimberly Graham, Connie Cook,
Matthew Cook, Molly Cook, Sherry Koehler, Danielle Wolf, and Drew Wolf;
and five great-grandchildren, Madeline Graham, Josephine Graham,
Devin Cook, Katy Graham, and Lauren Graham.

Burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
