Viola Schwidde

Viola H. Schwidde, nee Schoenbach, 98, of Belleville, IL, born March 3, 1914, in Freeburg, IL, passed away, Friday, March 30, 2012, at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, Illinois.

Viola was a dressmaker for a period of time before her marriage to Roy on September 16, 1945, whereupon she was a homemaker and tended to their farm for 45 years in Rosebud, Missouri. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bourbon, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Schwidde; her parents, Walter and Helen, nee Bachman, Schoenbach; and her brother, Albert Schoenbach.

Surviving are her three nephews, Ronald A. (Ginger) Schoenbach of Harsens Island, Michigan,
 Bruce G. (Marsha) Schoenbach of Phoenix, Arizona,
and David C. Schoenbach of Belleville, Illinois.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2012, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Schlichter officiating.  Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
