Ethel Fischer

Ethel S. Fischer, nee Schnipper, 95, of Belleville, IL, born April 2, 1917 in Belleville, IL, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Fischer was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Fischer, who died on Feb. 13, 1993; her parents, Thomas G. and Adele, nee Stein, Schnipper; and one great-grandson, Corbin Evans.

Surviving are her son, James G. (Rose Ann) Fischer of Belleville, IL;
two granddaughters, Sherry (Tom) Martindale,
and Barb Evans;
four great-grandchildren, Cody Schubert,
Caitlin and Taylor Evans,
and Katherine Martindale.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 31, 2012, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. 

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the funeral home, with Msgr. Marvin Volk officiating. 

Private burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
