Mary Collins

Mary F. Collins, nee Hentze, 80, of Belleville, IL, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at her residence.  

Mrs. Collins had worked as a title clerk for Schmidt Chevrolet of O’Fallon, IL.  She was a member of St. Peter’s Cathedral Parish and the Women of the Moose. 

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick R. Collins Sr.; her parents, John H. and Nora F., nee Gailey, Hentze; a brother, John L. Hentze; and a sister-in-law, Billie L. Hentze.

Surviving are four sons and two daughters, Richard L. (Eileen) Humphrey of Shiloh, IL,
Marcia (Heiko) Rolands of Troy, MO,
Fred Jr. (Mary Kay) Collins of Belleville, IL,
Linda (Curtis) Altman of Charleston, SC,
and James Collins and William Collins, both of Belleville, IL;
eleven grandchildren, Anne Rolands, Danielle and Courtney Collins,
Kristy and Xavier Lloyd, Jason Dossett,
Elizabeth and Billy Collins, Michael and Scott Carlson, and Dennis Mealy;
nine great-grandchildren, Kaden, Jordan, Brianna, Sydni,
Alicia, Michaela, Hayli, Michael, and Brandon;
her nephew, John Hentze of Belleville, IL;
and special friends, Theresa, Dorothy, and Carol.

Memorials may be made to the Poor Clare Monastery.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2012, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. 

Funeral:  Funeral procession will leave at 9:45 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2012, from the funeral home for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter’s Cathedral Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. John Myler officiating.

Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
