I knew her when our kids were going to Belle Valley and attending PSR at St. Theresa and we were doing the room mother parties. She always had a smile on her face. Laurie was an amazing woman and inspiration. I am so grateful that she was my cousin and friend. Laurie showed all of us how to live life well even during the midst of a horrible illness. I am so happy that we were able to do one of her famous "road trips" to Michigan last year with my mom, Fran, and Aunt Connie. We had so much fun!

Hi Julie. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your sister. I'm shocked. I didn't know her last name and didn't catch this in the paper. I have such fond memories of both of you as friends when we were young. I'm saddened with you and your family as I read about Laurie's passing.
